You spend so much time taking care of life. Work. Family. Responsibilities. Bills. Deadlines. Other people's needs.
Life gets busy.
And somewhere in the middle of keeping everything moving, it's surprisingly easy to stop asking some pretty important questions.
What matters to me now?
What have I been putting off?
What would I love my life to look like five years from now?
Who am I becoming through the choices I'm making every day?
Who Are You Becoming? is an interactive personal-growth experience designed to give you something most of us rarely give ourselves: time and space to think about your own life.
Not somebody else's expectations. Not who everyone else thinks you should be.
You.
This Isn't Another Motivational Seminar
You won't spend three hours sitting in a chair listening to someone tell you how to live your life. Nobody is going to hand you a ten-step formula for becoming a “better” person.
Instead, you're going to participate.
You'll reflect. You'll write. You'll create. You'll imagine. You'll make choices. You'll laugh. And you may even surprise yourself.
Throughout the afternoon, you'll move through a series of guided experiences, stories, questions, demonstrations, and activities designed to help you slow down and listen to something that often gets drowned out by everyday life:
Because this experience isn't about giving you my answers.
It's about helping you hear more of your own.
Get Curious About Where You're Going
Throughout the afternoon, we'll explore different parts of your life—not to judge where you are, but to get curious about where you're going.
We'll begin with your life right now. What deserves more of your attention? Where are you spending your time and energy? What's working? What have you been neglecting? Sometimes clarity about the future begins by becoming more honest about the present.
Then we'll turn toward your Future Self. Imagine meeting yourself several years from now. Who is that person? How do they spend their time? What have they stopped postponing? What do they value? What have they experienced? You'll have an opportunity to imagine a possible Future Self—not as a prediction, but as an invitation to think differently about who you're practicing becoming today.
We'll also explore possibility. What have you stopped allowing yourself to dream about? What would you love to BE, DO, and HAVE if you stopped editing your answers before you even wrote them down? You may rediscover ideas you've been carrying around for years. You may discover some new ones.
We'll turn traditional goal setting around. Instead of beginning with “What do I want to have?” we'll ask, “Who do I want to become?” Then we'll consider what that person would do and what might become possible if you consistently lived that way.
And we aren't stopping with inspiration. Before you leave, you'll choose one small action you can actually take. Not twenty goals. Not a complete reinvention of your life.
One meaningful next move.
I call it your Tiny Pebble.
Your Experience Unfolds
When you arrive, you'll discover a series of sealed envelopes waiting for you.
Don't peek.
Each envelope contains another part of your experience. Throughout the afternoon, I'll invite you to open them one at a time.
You won't know everything that's coming.
That's intentional.
We spend so much of our lives trying to figure out the entire journey before we're willing to take the next step. For one afternoon, we're going to do something different.
You'll experience what's in front of you before moving to what's next.
One envelope. One experience. One question. One choice at a time.
Everything you need will be waiting for you when you arrive. Just bring yourself—and a little curiosity.
You Feel a Quiet Pull Toward What's Next
You don't need to be stuck. You don't need to be unhappy. And your life certainly doesn't need to be falling apart.
Maybe life is actually going pretty well, but you've been moving so quickly that you haven't stopped to ask where you're going.
Maybe you've spent years taking care of everyone else and haven't thought very much about what you want next.
Maybe there's something you've wanted to start, change, pursue, experience or become—but “someday” keeps getting further away.
Maybe you're entering a new chapter. Maybe you're ready for one.
Or maybe you simply have a quiet feeling that says: “I don't want to sleepwalk through the next few years of my life.”
You don't need to have everything figured out.
You may simply know there's more.
You Don't Need a Five-Year Plan
You don't need perfect goals. You don't need to know your “purpose.” You don't even need to know exactly what you want yet.
That's part of the reason we're getting together.
Come curious. Come willing to think. Come willing to imagine. Come willing to be honest with yourself.
And give yourself permission, for just a few hours, to put the rest of the world down and pay attention to your own life.
Good Conversation. A Full Hyatt House Lunch.
Good conversations are even better over good food.
We'll begin the afternoon with time to settle in, enjoy lunch, and connect with the people around you before transitioning into the guided Next Version You™ experience.
There's no need to grab lunch before you arrive. Lunch isn't an add-on—it's part of the experience.
RESERVE MY SEAT — $99You Don't Have to Move the Mountain
Changing something about your life can feel enormous.
We look at the mountain—everything we'd like to change, everything we've postponed, everything we wish we'd done differently, and everything we still want to experience.
And sometimes the mountain looks so big that we do nothing.
So we're changing the assignment.
Before you leave, you'll decide what your Tiny Pebble is.
It might be one phone call. One conversation. One appointment. One decision. One new habit. One application. One hour on the calendar. One first step.
Something small enough to actually do—but meaningful enough to move you in the direction of the person you want to become.
Clarity, Your Own Words, and One Next Action
You're not going home with a giant list of things you're suddenly supposed to change.
That's not the goal.
You'll leave with greater clarity about what matters to you now, a clearer picture of the person and life you'd like to move toward, insights from your own words and choices, and the experience materials you've completed throughout the afternoon.
Most importantly, you'll leave with one specific next action you've chosen for yourself and a small physical reminder of the commitment you made that afternoon.
It probably won't mean much to anyone else.
But you'll know exactly what it represents.

Cordell Davenport
Creator of Next Version You™ · Author · Entrepreneur · Visionary Builder
I'm Cordell Davenport, and I've spent much of my life doing something I love: learning, creating, building, and imagining what's possible next.
I've created businesses, written books, developed personal-growth resources, produced content, designed experiences, and pursued ideas across a wide range of interests. But underneath all of those projects is a common thread: I'm fascinated by growth—how an idea becomes something real and how a person can become more intentional about the life they're creating.
I describe myself as a visionary builder. Ideas come naturally to me, but I've never believed an idea is valuable simply because you have it. The interesting part is what happens next: connecting the pieces, creating a strategy, taking action, learning from what happens, and continuing to evolve.
That way of thinking is reflected in my top five CliftonStrengths: Ideation, Input, Positivity, Futuristic, and Strategic. I'm naturally curious about ideas, energized by possibilities, drawn toward the future, and constantly thinking about how to turn possibility into action.
Keep learning. Keep growing. And use what you've learned to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
That's also what led me to create Next Version You™.
I don't believe personal growth requires someone standing on a stage pretending they have life completely figured out. I believe sometimes we simply need to slow down, ask ourselves better questions, create enough space to hear our own answers, and then decide what we're willing to do next.
That's what Who Are You Becoming? is designed to do.
I'm not here to tell you who you should become.
That's yours to discover.
My role is to create the questions, stories, exercises, environment, and experiences that help you think more deeply about your life and what's possible next.
Because ultimately, your future isn't created in one giant moment.
It's created through the choices you make next.

Everything You May Want to Know
What exactly is Who Are You Becoming?
Who Are You Becoming? is a three-hour interactive personal-growth experience created by Next Version You™. It's designed to give you space to step away from everyday demands, think about your life, reconnect with what matters to you, imagine what's possible, and identify a meaningful next move.
This isn't three hours of listening to a motivational speaker. You'll participate in guided reflection, creative activities, personal writing, thought-provoking experiences, and interactive moments throughout the afternoon.
When and where is the experience?
The experience takes place Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM–3:00 PM at Hyatt House San Jose / Cupertino, 10380 Perimeter Rd, Cupertino, CA 95014. Registered participants will receive additional arrival and event information before the experience.
How much does it cost?
Registration is $99 per person and includes the entire three-hour Next Version You™ experience, Hyatt House lunch and beverages, and all materials you'll use throughout the afternoon.
Is lunch included?
Yes. Lunch is included in your registration. Hyatt House will provide a full buffet featuring chicken fajitas, Chile Verde, Southwest salad, Spanish rice, refried beans, tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole, dessert, bottled water, and freshly brewed iced tea.
Do I need to prepare anything beforehand?
No. In fact, I'd rather you didn't try to prepare your answers in advance.
Come as you are, bring an open mind, and be willing to get curious about your life. Everything you need for the experience will be provided when you arrive.
Can I come by myself?
Absolutely. You don't need to know anyone else attending. The experience is designed so you can participate individually while still having opportunities to connect with others.
Coming alone may actually give you something you don't often get—the opportunity to step away from your normal roles, routines, and expectations and focus entirely on yourself for a few hours.
Will I have to share personal information with strangers?
No. There will be opportunities for interaction, but you decide what you're comfortable sharing.
Some of the most meaningful parts of the experience are designed specifically for private reflection. Your story belongs to you.
Is this therapy or counseling?
No. Who Are You Becoming? is a personal-growth and self-reflection experience. It is not therapy, counseling, medical care, or a substitute for professional mental-health services.
The experience focuses on reflection, clarity, personal goals, intentional choices, possibilities, and the person you want to practice becoming.
What should I wear?
Come comfortable. This isn't a formal business event. Wear something that allows you to relax, write, participate, and enjoy yourself. Meeting-room temperatures can vary, so you may want to bring a light sweater or jacket.
What will I leave with?
You'll leave with the materials and reflections you've created throughout the afternoon, greater clarity around what matters to you, a clearer sense of the person you want to practice becoming, and one specific action you've chosen to take next.
You don't need to leave with your entire life figured out. You just need your next move.
WHO ARE YOU BECOMING?
Not when life gets easier. Not when everything is figured out. Not when you finally feel completely ready.
Your next version is already being shaped by the choices you're making now.
So maybe the question isn't: “What should I do with the rest of my life?”
Maybe the better question is simply: Who are you becoming?
Maybe it's time to give yourself one afternoon to find out.
